Ulkadal, kaaru mazha kandu theernnu thirike
Thira, theeram, kara, vankadal theerunnu ivide
[The bay, after seeing it the rain cloud is returning

Mmmm…

+Mashi ittu nokkuka translates to interpret messages on an ink spread. This was a divination method used in ancient times. The reader spreads ink on a betel leaf and tells the past and predict the future of people. This was also used to find people/objects which go missing. Apparently each person needs an ink created for him/her from a set of plants and that can be used for prediction every year for 12 years.
