Gopalakrishna Pillai, a ruthless money lender, lives with his mother and younger brother. He is shown literally worshipping money. His brash ways are disliked even by his mother. His younger brother feels stifled in their home as Gopalalakrishnan keeps a strong hold on the money and does not give him any for his pet projects. During an argument with his mom, Pillai reveals a long-held dark secret which absolutely devastates her. A song which expresses his deep penance and forgiveness he craves from his mother from the movie Madampi.
