Manninte punyamaam gandharva gaayaka, manthrame njangalkku nin naadam
Manninte punyamaam gandharva gaayaka, manthrame njangalkku nin naadam
[Hey celestial singer who is the goodness of this earth, your voice is a sacred sound for us]
Malayala bhasha than varam aanu nee, deva maniveena meettunna swaram aanu nee
Kaalavum lokavum kaalkal namikkunna sangeetha sooryaprabhaavame nee
[You are a boon to the Malayalam language, you are a music note played by a heavenly veena
You are the majestic sun of music whose feet at which time and world prostrates]

Manninte punyamaam gandharva gaayaka,
manthrame njangalkku nin naadam
[Hey celestial singer who is the goodness of this earth,
your voice is a sacred sound for us]

Kaattu enna pole kadal enna pole nin paattine njangal arinjidunnu
Kaattu enna pole kadal enna pole nin paattine njangal arinjidunnu
[Like wind and the ocean, we feel your songs]
Ninte naada prapanchathil pularikal sandhyakal vannu niranjidunnu
Nenjakathe midippilum aazhathil nin gaana madhuri chernnidunnu
[In your vocal universe, dawns and twilights gather and fill
Even deeper than our heartbeats, the sweetness of your songs merge with us]

Manninte punyamaam gandharva gaayaka,
manthrame njangalkku nin naadam
[Hey celestial singer who is the goodness of this earth
your voice is a sacred sound for us]

Oro vichaaram aayi, oro vikaaram aayi, ninte aalaapanam thottidunnu
Oro vichaaram aayi, oro vikaaram aayi, ninte aalaapanam thottidunnu
[As each thought, as each expression, your renditions touch us]
Novum nilaavum pranayavum venalum nee ninte chundaal pakarnnidunnu
Oro hrudayam madhuritham aakkunna maaya vipanchi aayi paadidunnu
[Aches, moonbeams, love and summer, you impart to us with your lips
Sweetening each of our hearts, you play as a magic harp]

Manninte punyamaam gandharva gaayaka, manthrame njangalkku nin naadam
Manninte punyamaam gandharva gaayaka, manthrame njangalkku nin naadam
[Hey celestial singer who is the goodness of this earth, your voice is a sacred sound for us]
