Lallu, a building painter by profession, lives estranged from his rich family. Lallu’s younger brother wants to get married soon, but his family is adamant that Lallu has to get married first. Lallu is against arranged marriage and hopes to fall in love. He serendipitously comes across a missing girl’s picture in the newspaper and feels a strong connection to that unknown girl. A song about pining for someone who you have not met but feel a strong connection to from the movie Oru Yamandan Premakadha.

*Konna is the state flower of Kerala. It is golden yellow in color and flowers around April during the Vishu time. It is kept along with other offerings for Vishu kani (first sight on Vishu morning) and hence it is also called kani konna.
**Olenjali or Rufous Treepie is a native bird of Kerala. The word’s meaning literally translates to ‘the one who swings on the tip of ola’ (coconut tree frond) probably a reference to where it sits on the coconut tree.
