Shivan who got appointed as the temple board secretary brings in Vasu, his friend, to control the temple staff by creating divisions among them. Vasu falls for the daughter of the priest of the temple. While she doesn’t respond to his advances as she is bethrothed to another, he imagines this dream sequence where he will be marrying her. A very popular song about an imagined love story from the movie Advaitham.

++ (edited) Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna temple is one of the major Lord Krishna temples in Kerala. The paalpayasam(rice kheer) offering at this temple is very famous. There is an interesting legend behind why palpayasam became the offering here which you can read on the Wiki link if interested.
*Thaali is a gold pendant which Malayali women wear as a mark of marriage.
**Naalaal literally means four people, but colloquially used to refer to a crowd.
***Nadakashala is the temple dining room where ritualistic sadya(feast) is offered to people. Here is a YouTube video of one such sadya.
****Nirmaalya pooja(ritualistic prayer) is the first prayer offered in a temple. The deity will still be adorned in all the garlands and pastes from the previous day and the priest will slowly remove everything and cleanse for the new day. It is considered auspicious to pray at the temple in wet clothes from a dip in the temple pond as the deity is deemed to be the most powerful at this hour.
