(Translation on request for MS)
Jessy, a small town girl, helps her mom out with selling her stitching jobs. She dials a wrong number one day while calling a client and connects with Vishnu, an autodriver living in a different town. She is annoyed at first with his attempts to call her again, but relents at one point when he helps her with a game she was playing with her cousins. Slowly they get to know each other through their talks. A melody about falling in love from the movie Kappela.

Kannil vidarum raathaarangal neeye
Mannil pularum pookkaalangal neeye
[You are the stars at night which blossoms in my eyes
You are the Springs which dawns on the earth]
Nerukil padaraan uyiru konda mazhayo?
Kilikal paraayath-ithal virinja kadhayo?
[(Are you) the rain born to spread on the crown of the head?
(Are you) the story which unfolded petals without any birds telling it?]
Puzhakalo vazhikalo, thira thodunna puthiya karakalo?
[(Are we) the rivers, paths, or the new shores touched by the waves?]
Kanavaayi theliyum raathaaram njaan aakaam
Thalir aayi nirayum pookkaalam njaan aakaam
[I’ll be the star which appears as a dream
I’ll be the Spring which fills with new sprouts]
Nerukil padaraan uyiru konda mazha njaan
Kilikal parayaath-ithal virinja kadha njaan
[I’m the rain born to spread on the crown of the head
I’m the story which unfolded petals without any birds telling it]
Ila veyil chirakum aayi kuliru thunnum inakal aayi naam
[With wings of soft sunlight, we became a pair who weaves pleasant chill]
Nakhamuna oronnil uthiraa niram aayi, mazhayude chuvaril shalabhangal pol nee
Nakhamuna oronnil uthiraa niram aayi, mazhayude chuvaril shalabhangal pol nee…
[Like colors stuck on the tip of each fingernail, like butterflies on a wall of rain, when you…]
..ee theruvil varnangal thaedumbol
[…search for colors on this street]
Paravasham aayi padarum chedi than thalir ilakalil onnake poovaayi cherum
[All across the new leaves of the restlessly spreading plant, (you)joined them as flowers]
Udal athil aavolam alasa mayoorangal puthu mazha nolkkunnee nimishangalil
[In these moments where (it feels like) languishing peacocks yearn for rain all over the body, ..]
aakhoshathin aavesha pazhuthukalil, aakashangal minnunnu kaanaatheeyil kaattu odum pole
[in these exciting pockets of celebration, the skies sparkle like a breeze runs through an invisible fire]
Kannil vidarum raathaarangal neeyaayi
Mannil pularum pookkaalangal neeyaayi
[You became the stars at night which blossoms in my eyes
You became the Springs which dawns on the earth]
Nerukil padaraan uyiru konda mazhayil
Kilikal paraayath-ithal virinja kadhayil
[In the rain born to spread on the crown of the head
In the the story which unfolded petals without any birds telling it]
Puzhakal aayi, vazhikal aayi, thira thodunna puthiya karakal aayi
[(We) became rivers, paths, and new shores touched by the waves]
