Another hit from Thaikkudam Bridge. This talks about how the unity of people builds heaven on earth. The video takes us through beautiful, grounded visuals of real Kerala.

Aezhaanu ee aazhi, aezhaanu ee naadu
ennalum onnalle jeevan mannil?
[Seven are the oceans, seven are the land
even then, aren’t all the lives same on this earth?]
Melaalan keezhe,
kezhunn(u)-aezhakkoottam innalum enthe mannil?
[(But) Under the overlords,
why do we have weaklings who implore, still on this earth?]
Aravayar pedapedakkanu, thura ozhiyanu, kulam mudiyanu
kali kara kadalum vaazhanu! (vaazhanu!)
[The half(empty) stomachs flutters(with hunger), the shores abandoned, the families destroyed
and anger rules the land and sea! (rules!)]
Aravayar pedapedakkanu, thura ozhiyanu, kulam mudiyanu
kali kara kadalum vaazhanu! (vaazhanu!)
[The half(empty) stomachs flutters(with hunger), the shores abandoned, the families destroyed
and anger rules the land and sea! (rules!)]

Kayyil thee eriyanu! kannil neer eriyanu! enthe naam poriyanu?
Onne naam ariyanu! onnaayi naam valaranu! pinpe avar thulayanu!
[The fire is flaming in our hands! Eyes are burning with tears! Why are we being burned?
There is only one thing we know! We stand together, we grow! The rest are destroyed!]
Athiril manjurukanu, maruvil kuliraakanu, chathikal maranneedanu
hey hey kaaval naam elkkanu! kodikal adi thennanu! paaril chee valaranu!
[The ice is melting on borders, the desert is cooling down, the betrayals are forgotten
We will take up surveillance! the (political)flags are losing footing! the chi* is spreading in the world]

Adiyaan aayi adiyaanmaar aavaathe nee
poritheedan chekonmaar aavaathe
[To (end up) being the downtrodden, hey you, don’t be a servant
to fight, don’t be a warrior (for someone else’s wars)]
Aethum venda vere naakam, onnakil swargam mannil ethum
venam manninu, choorerum eenam chundil moolum nalkoottam
[We don’t need any other heaven, our unity is the heaven on earth
We need a good bunch (of people) who can hum music which smells of this land]
Neril vanne! Nerum konde! Nerin neram kaanum nerilla naadu
Onnai nammal kottum thaalam, unma theendum idanenjin naadam
[We came in person! With the truth! To this opportunist truthless land!
This beat we drum together, (is) the sound of hearts looking for reality]

*chi – I think they mean the Chinese principle of Chi – the spiritual energy found in all beings.
