Nrithageethikal ennum unarunna vaediyil,
thrishna mizhikal itha thaedunnu ee vismayathe
[On this stage where the dance music commences
the thirsty eyes are searching for this* wonder]

Nrithageethikal ennum unarunna vaediyil,
thrishna mizhikal itha thaedunnu ee vismayathe
[On this stage where the dance music commences
the thirsty eyes are searching for this* wonder]
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
[hey my girl… hey beautiful girl]
Kanjukam ilakunna, laasya nadanam kaanaan,
viswa dikkukal ithaa en munnil anayunnee
[To view the sensual dance, with shaking blouse
The corners of the world are coming before me]
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
[hey my girl… hey beautiful girl]

Kanchana prabha olum, en mani marumaaril
madhupanmaar ivaroo oliyambu eriyunne
[On the my chest, which exudes a golden glow,
these intoxicated ones are launching furtive arrows(glances)]
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
[hey my girl… hey beautiful girl]
En vashya kaanthithan, naruthaen nukarnnidaan,
ee velli udalinmel valam vechu shalabhangal
[To sip the nectar, of my sensual radiance
on this silver body, these butterflies circled]
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
[hey my girl… hey beautiful girl]

Aaa..Muthu uthirum en chodi cheppil kumkumam chaarthan
vellaram kannulla manamadhan araanoo?
[On my lips which produce pearls, to apply sindoor (redness)
who is this lover with light eyes?]
Maamayil aayi aadunne njanum,
maaruthan mantham maathalapoo mottin gandam unarthidum neeram
[Like a peahen I’m dancing
when the breeze tenderly raise the fragrance of maathalam flower bud]
Karalil aliyum madhu nunayaan, aaro
madana kusuma haaramaniyaan, aaro
[Someone, came to taste the sweetness mixed in my heart
someone, to make me wear a beautiful flower garland]
Punaraan aaro, aliyaan
Pulaka mukula lahariyaarnna raavaanu njaan
[Someone to embrace, to dissolve
I’m a budding happy and intoxicating night]
Nrithageethikal ennum unarunna vaediyil,
thrishna mizhikal itha thaedunnu ee vismayathe
[On this stage where the dance music commences
the thirsty eyes are searching for this* wonder]
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
[hey my girl… hey beautiful girl]
Kanjukam ilakunna, laasya nadanam kaanaan,
viswa dikkukal ithaa en munnil anayunnee
[To view the sensual dance, with shaking blouse
The corners of the world are coming before me]
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
Aaa…En Mange…Aaa…Pon Mange…
[hey my girl… hey beautiful girl]

  1. As if for the first time, I am reading a line-by-line translation in Malayalam . I had difficulty matching the Malayalam with English words. . All in all, the words are sedutive, and item .. THANKS DEAR THUMBI, I appreciate your work.. 🙂
    🌹

  2. Words like ..
    Kunjakam
    Laasya
    Prabhay
    olum
    Madhupanmaar
    Oliyambu
    Chippil
    Pulaka
    Mukala

Still cannot get their matching words :'(

    1. Kanjukam – blouse
      Laasyam – slow/sensual
      Prabha – glow
      olum – exuding
      Madhupanmaar – intoxicated/dunken men
Oliyambu – there are two words joined together. Oli means furtive, ambu means arrows

      Pulakam – happy
      Mukalam – bud
