Sujatha, a maid who works at different places to make ends meet and give her daughter a better life, realizes that her daughter is a lazy girl despite being intelligent. She tries to prove a point to her daughter by taking up the daunting task of finishing high school which she had abandoned because of life responsibilities. Mathematics as a whole is a conundrum for both mom and daughter and the song is about how hard it is.
