Enthinu veroru sooryodayam?
[Why do I need another sunrise?]

Enthinu veroru sooryodayam,
nee en ponnushasandhya alle?
[Why do I need another sunrise,
when you are my own beautiful dawn and dusk?]

Enthinu veroru madhuvasantham?
[Why do I need another sweet spring?]

Enthinu veroru madhuvasantham,
innu nee en arikil ille?
[Why do I need another sweet spring,
when I have you close to me?]
Malar vaniyil, veruthe…
enthinu veroru madhuvasantham?
[In this garden, in vain…
why do I need another sweet spring?]

Ninte noopura marmaram, onnu kelkkaanaayi vannu njan
Ninte sandhwana venuvil, raga lolamaayi jeevitham
[The rustling of your dancer’s anklets, I came to listen it
In your flute’s solace, my life turned melodious]
Nee ente aananda neelaambari,
Nee ennum anayaatha deepaanjali
[You are my happy neelambari (raaga)
You are my never extinguishing lamp of worship]
Iniyum chilambu aniyu…
[Please wear your dancer’s anklets again…]

Enthinu veroru sooryodayam?
[Why do I need another sunrise?]

Shyamagopike* ee mizhi pookkal innu enthe eeran aayi?
Thaavaka anguli laalanangalil aardram aayi maanasam
[Hey girl, why are your flower like eyes moist today?
By the caress your fingers gave me, my mind has been soothed]
Poo kondu moodunnu vrindavanam
Sindooram aniyunnu raagaambaram
[This Vrindavan (garden) is getting covered with flowers
This melodic sky is starting to wear vermilion]
Aadu swara yamune…
[Please dance again Yamuna(river) of sound…]

Enthinu veroru sooryodayam,
nee en ponnushasandhya alle?
[Why do I need another sunrise,
when you are my own beautiful dawn and dusk?]
Enthinu veroru madhuvasantham,
innu nee en arikil ille?
[Why do I need another sweet spring,
when I have you close to me?]
Malar vaniyil, veruthe…
enthinu veroru madhuvasantham?
[In this garden, in vain…
why do I need another sweet spring?]

    1. Hi, please put in the request on the ‘Song Requests’ page so that it can be added to the list. Otherwise I’ll lose track of this.
      Thank you
