Prem Krishnan meets Prabha in Kodaikanal where he is on deputation for a public works job. He starts to fall for her not knowing she’s a married woman in an unhappy marriage. The song is an expression of his love, which is more of a bane to Prabha than a solace because of her cruel husband. This super hit movie released in 1980 with evergreen songs, saw the debut of one of the brilliant actors in Malayalam cinema – Mohanlal, albeit a villain in this one.
