(Translation on request for MNM)
This “item song” which appears at the end of the movie Bachelor Party, hits all the check marks – has nothing to do with the movie’s plot, has a catchy tune with lyrics that don’t mean much, fully clothed men are seen dancing around an “item girl”, other dancing women are wearing “immodest” clothing which apparently helps the marketability of the movie/song. 🙂

I think the beginning scene of this song is pretty hilarious though. This movie is about a bunch of gangsters who take revenge on their rivals for killing their friend Tony -who had left the life of a gangster and was living peacefully with his pregnant wife. Unfortunately at the end, all of them get killed in a shootout. This song starts from there – them ending up at the doors of hell and what do they see? – Tony is already in there dancing with hot girls. And of course! they had to include two major Kerala delicacies – Kappa puzhuku (mashed tapioca) and Chakka varatty (Jackfruit preserve) – to make it catchy, even if those two lines have no bearing on the rest of the lines . I mean, it’s no joke that jackfruit is our state fruit[1]. I am sure if we had a state tuber, it would be tapioca. 😀
